Gustave Lorentz is one of the most famous wineries in Alsace, France. In 1748, Pierre Lorentz married the daughter of Mayor Bergheim, and the Lorentz family moved there. Since then, the family has gradually developed in the region. The current owner of Gustav Lorentz is Georges Lorentz, the sixth generation of the Lorentz family. His grandfather, Charles Lorentz Sr., has been engaged in grape cultivation and wine production in the heart of Alsace since 1836.
